Procedure

  1. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
  2. Lift the keyboard bracket off the keyboard.

  3. Open the latches and disconnect the keyboard cable and keyboard-backlight cable from the keyboard daughter-board.
  4. Remove the screws that secure the keyboard assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
  5. Lift the keyboard along with its cables off the palm-rest assembly.
