Removing the DC-in Connector

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Base cover
    2. battery
  3. Perform the following steps to remove the I/O board:
    1. Disconnect the DC-in cable from the system board [1].
    2. Remove the M2x3 screw that secures the DC-in cable to the computer.
    3. Remove the DC-in connector from the computer.
