Procedure
- Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in “ Replacing the speakers”.
- Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in “ Replacing the power-button board ”.
- Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 6 in “ Replacing the touch pad ”.
- Slide the speaker cable through the slot on the computer base.
- Align the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the computer base.
- Replace the screws that secure the palm-rest assembly to the computer base.
- Slide the touch-pad cable and the power-button cable into the system board and press down on the latches to secure the cables.
- Close the display and turn the computer over.
- Replace the screws that secure the palm-rest assembly to the computer base.
- Connect the speaker cable to the system board.
- Turn the computer over and open the display.
