The Dell VMAX and PowerMax enterprise storage platform families support storage-based Non-Disruptive Migrations (NDM) to migrate business-critical host systems to new storage arrays without application downtime. With the release of the PowerMaxOS 5978.444.444 code family, NDM support is added for the IBMi host platform. NOTE 1: For IBMi systems that also use Dell's native STM software toolkit (SRDF/TimeFinder Manager for IBMi), there are some additional considerations when the (optional) final step in the NDM process is done for a device-identity reset (unspoofing) of the migrated devices.
