This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Hard Drive (2.5 inch) - Internal and a Precision 5860 Tower. The procedure will also include removing the Side Cover, Hard Drive Assembly, Hard Drive and reinstalling them.
Removal

Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips screwdriver to turn the side panel latch to the unlocked position.
Pull the release latch to release the side cover from the system.
Push the latch and release the side cover from the system.
Lift the side cover away from the system.

Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs with the slots and install the side cover on the system.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the side-panel latch to the locked position.
