Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover off the system.
Speaker
Identify the speaker highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guide on the fan assembly.
Press the release tab and lift the speaker along with the cable from the system.
Fan Assembly
Identify the fan assembly highlighted in blue.
Press the blue tabs on both sides of the fan assembly.
Slide and lift the fan assembly from the system and flip over the fan assembly to access the fan cable.
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
Lift the fan assembly off the system.
Memory Module
Identify the memory module highlighted in blue.
Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end until the memory module pops up.
Slide and lift the memory module from the system board.
Install
Memory Module
Identify the memory module location highlighted in blue.
Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the slot and slide the memory into the slot at an angle.
Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
Fan Assembly
Identify the fan assembly location highlighted in blue.
Align and place the fan assembly near to the system.
Connect the fan cable to its connector on the system board.
Flip over the fan assembly.
Press the release tab, place and slide the fan assembly into the slot on the system and release the tabs.
Speaker
Identify the speaker location highlighted in blue.
Align and install the speaker into the slot and press it until the release tab clicks.
Route the speaker cable through the routing guides on the fan assembly.
Connect the speaker cable to its connector on the system board.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Place and slide the side cover towards the back of the system.
Tighten the thumb screw that secure the side cover to the system.
