Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover away from the system.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue.
Pry the retention tabs to release the front bezel from the system.
Rotate the front bezel outward from the chassis and remove the front bezel.
WLAN
Coin Cell Battery
Identify the coin cell battery highlighted in blue.
Using a plastic scribe, gently pry the coin cell battery out of the slot on the system board.
Remove the coin cell battery.
Hard Drive (3.5
Graphical processing unit
Fan Duct
Identify the fan duct highlighted in blue.
Press the retention tabs on both sides of the fan duct to release it.
Pull and remove the fan duct from the system.

Hard Drive Assembly (2.5)
Processor Fan and Heatsink Assembly
Identify the processor fan and heat sink assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the processor fan cable from the connector on the system board.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the processor fan and heat sink assembly to the system board. Loosen in reverse order.
Remove the processor fan and heat sink assembly from the system board.
Use the alcohol pad to clean the heatsink (as shown in the video)
Processor
Identify the processor highlighted in blue.
Press down and push the release lever away from the processor to release it from the securing tab.
Lift the lever upward to lift the processor cover.
Remove the processor from the processor socket.
Serial Module
Identify the serial module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the serial module to the system.
Disconnect the serial module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the serial module off the system board.
VGA Module
Identify the VGA module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the VGA module to the chassis.
Disconnect the VGA module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the VGA module off the system board.
DP Module
Identify the DP module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the DP module to the chassis.
Disconnect the DP module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the DP module from the system.
HDMI Module
Identify the HDMI module highlighted in blue.
Remove the screws that secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
Disconnect the HDMI module cable from the connector on the system board.
Remove the HDMI module off the system board.
System Board
Identify the system board highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the intrusion switch, speaker and power button cables from the system board.
Disconnect the power and HDD cables from the system board.
Unroute the power and HDD cables from the routing guides on the system.
Remove the screws that secure the front I/O bracket to the chassis.
Slide and remove the front I/O bracket from the chassis.
Remove the screws that secure the system board to the system.
Remove the standoff screw that secures the system board.
Slide at an angle and remove the system board off the system.
Install
System Board
Identify the system board location highlighted in blue.
Slide the front I/O ports into the slots on the chassis and match the screw holes on the system board with those on the chassis.
Install the standoff screw to secure the system board to the chassis.
Install the screws to secure the system board to the chassis.
Align the front I/O bracket with the slots on the chassis.
Install the screws to secure the front I/O bracket to the chassis.
Route the cables through the routing guides on the system.
Connect the power and HDD cables to their respective connectors on the system board.

Connect the intrusion switch, speaker and power button cables from the system board.
HDMI Module
Identify the HDMI module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the HDMI module into its slot from the inside of the system.
Connect the HDMI module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws to secure the HDMI module to the chassis.
DP Module
Identify the DP module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the DP module into its slot from the inside of the system.
Connect the DP module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws to secure the DP module to the chassis.
VGA Module
Identify the VGA module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the VGA module into its slot from the inside of the system.
Connect the VGA module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the cross type screws to secure the optional VGA module to the chassis.
Serial Module
Identify the serial module location highlighted in blue.
Insert the serial module into the slot on the chassis.
Connect the serial module cable to the connector on the system board.
Install the screws that secure the serial module to the chassis.
Processor
Identify the processor location highlighted in blue.
Ensure that the release lever on the processor socket is fully extended in the open position.
Align the notches on the processor with the tabs on the socket and place it on the socket.
Once the processor is in place, lower the release lever and secure it under the tab on the processor cover.
Processor Fan and Heatsink Assembly
Identify the processor fan and heat sink assembly location highlighted in blue.
Apply a pea sized amount of thermal material as shown.
Install the processor fan and heat sink assembly on the system board and align with screw holes.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the processor fan and heat sink assembly to the system board.Tighten in order. Do not overtighten.
Connect the processor fan cable to the connector on the system board.

Fan Duct
Identify the fan duct location highlighted in blue.
Position the fan duct to align it with the slots on the computer chassis.
Press the fan duct until it clicks into place.

Coin Cell Battery
Identify the coin cell battery location highlighted in blue.
Insert the coin cell battery into the socket with the positive side (+) label facing up.
Snap the battery in the socket.
WLAN
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue.
Align the front bezel tabs with the slots on the chassis.
Rotate the front bezel towards the chassis and snap it into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the side cover with the slots and place the side cover on the system.
Tighten the thumbscrews that secure the side cover of the system.
