How to replace the Solid State Drive 2280 - External on a Precision 7875 Tower

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Solid State Drive 2280 - External and a Precision 7875 Tower. The procedure will also include removing the Front Bezel - Hard Drive, SSD Assembly External, SSD 2280 and reinstalling them.

1. Identify the solid state drive (SSD) assembly highlighted in blue.
2. Push the release button on the external flex bay bracket to open the release latch.
3. Hold the release latch and slide the solid state drive assembly out of the external flex bay slot.

1. Identify the solid state drive (SSD) assembly location highlighted in blue.
2. Slide and insert the solid state drive assembly into the external flex bay slot.
3. Push and close the release latch to secure the solid state drive assembly in place.
