How to replace the Processor on a Precision 7875 Tower

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Processor and a Precision 7875 Tower. The procedure will also include removing the Side Cover, Air Shroud, Heat Sink and reinstalling them.
Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Unlock the side panel latch using a Phillips screwdriver.
Press to open the latch of the side cover. Pull the release latch to release the side cover from the chassis.
Open the side cover at an angle and lift the cover away from the chassis.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue.
Hold the top air shroud at the grip points and pull it upwards out of the chassis.
Heat Sink
Identify the heat sink highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board. Loosen in reverse order.
Lift the heat sink assembly from the system board.
Use the alcohol pad to clean the heatsink (as shown in the video).
Processor
Identify the processor highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the force frame to the system board. Loosen in reverse order.
Lift and open the force frame.
Lift the CPU carrier by holding the two blue latch points on the rail frame and rotating it to the vertical position.
Slide the processor out of the CPU carrier.
Install
Processor
Identify the processor location highlighted in blue.
Place the processor into the CPU carrier.
Slide the processor by holding the two blue latch points on the rail frame and rotating it to the horizontal position.
Close the force frame and align with the screw holes.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the force frame to the system board. Install in order. Do not over tighten.
Heat Sink
Identify the heat sink location highlighted in blue.
Apply a pea sized amount of thermal material as shown.
Install the heat sink assembly on the system board and align with screw holes.
Tighten the captive screws that secure the heatsink to the system board. Install in order. Do not over tighten.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Install the air shroud and press the top air shroud down until the tabs click into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs with the slots and install the side cover on the chassis.
Using a Phillips screwdriver, turn the side panel latch to the locked position.
