This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Memory Module and a Precision 7680. The procedure will also include removing the Base Cover, CAMM / Memory Module and reinstalling them.
Removal
Base Cover
Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover to the computer.
Pry open the base cover starting from the bottom right corner of the base cover.
Lift the base cover starting from the bottom edge and push it towards the rear to remove it from the system.
CAMM / Memory Module
Install
CAMM / Memory Module
Base Cover
Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the base cover into its slot until it clicks into place.
Tighten the captive screws to secure the base cover to the computer.
