How to replace the Hard drive 3.5 on a Optiplex SFF 7010

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Hard drive 3.5 and a Optiplex SFF 7010.

Removal

Side Cover

Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.

Loosen the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.

Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.

Install

3.5" Hard Drive

Side Cover

Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.

Slide the side cover towards the front of the computer.

Tighten the captive screws that secure the side cover to the chassis.
