Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
Slide and lift the side cover away from the system.
Wireless Module
External SMA Antenna Kit
Identify the external SMA antenna kit highlighted in blue.
Open the cable holder that secure the SMA module cable.
Unroute the SMA module cable from the cable holder on the chassis.
Lift the pull tab to open the PCIe door.
Remove the SMA module from its connector on the system board.
Install
External SMA Antenna Kit
Identify the external SMA antenna kit location highlighted in blue.
Insert a flat head screwdriver into the bracket hole, push to release it, and lift the bracket out of the system.
Lift the pull tab to open the PCIe door.
Insert the optional SMA module into its slot on the system board.
Route the SMA module cable through the cable holder on the chassis.
Close the cable holder to secure the SMA module cable.
Wireless Module
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the side cover with the slots and place the side cover on the system.
Tighten the thumbscrews that secure the side cover to the system.
