Removal
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel highlighted in blue
Unlock the front bezel by using the key.
Press the release button, and pull the left end of the front bezel.
Unhook the right end, and remove the front bezel.
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch till the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue
Holding the blue touch points, apply firm pressure to remove the air shroud.
Hard Drive Backplane
Identify the hard drive backplane highlighted in blue
Using the blue touchpoints, slide the backplane cover back and lift to remove.
Press the release button to open the drive carrier release handle on all hard drives installed.
Holding the handle, pull the drive out partially to disengage from the drive plane.
Disconnect all data, signal, and power cable(s) from the backplane.
Unroute the control panel cables from the backplane.
Loosen the two screws that secures the hard drive backplane to system.
Press the 2 blue release tabs, Lift to remove the backplane from the system.
Install
Hard Drive Backplane
Identify the hard drive backplane location highlighted in blue
Align the backplane to the hooks on the chassis and lower until the release tabs snap into place.
Tighten the two screws that secures the hard drive backplane to system.
Connect the all data, signal, and power cable(s) to the backplane.
Route the control panel cables through the backplane.
Slide the drives into place and close to latch to secure.
Lower the backplace cover into the slot and slide until it snaps into place.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the air shroud with the slots on the system.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it clicks into place.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system.
Push the system cover latch down.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise.
Front Bezel
Identify the front bezel location highlighted in blue
Hook the right end of the front bezel onto the system.
Fit the free end of the front bezel onto the system.
Lock the front bezel by using the key.
