This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Memory module and a Poweredge R750. The procedure will also include removing the System Cover, Air Shroud, System Memory and reinstalling them.
Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or a phillips #2 screwdriver rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
Lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
Lift the cover from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue.
Hold the edges of the air shroud, and lift the air shroud out of the system.
System Memory
Install
System Memory
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Align the slot on the air shroud with the standoff on the system.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it is firmly seated.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system and slide the system cover.
Close the system cover release latch.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise to the lock position.
