Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a flat head or a Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch till the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Butterfly riser
Identify the butterfly riser assembly highlighted in blue
Loosen the captive screw that secures the riser to the system
Hold the touch points, and lift the expansion card riser, from the riser connector, on the system board.
Air shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue
Holding the touch points, lift the cooling shroud away from the system.
LOM riser card
Identify the LOM riser card highlighted in blue
Loosen the screws that secure the LOM riser card to the system board.
Release the two blue side plastic snaps holding the LOM riser card.
Hold the LOM riser card by the edges on either side, and lift to remove it from the connector on the system board.
Slide the LOM riser card towards the front of the system until the Ethernet connectors or the Small form-factor pluggable (SFP) are clear of the slot in the back of the system.
Install
LOM riser card
Identify the LOM riser card location on the system board.
Align the connectors on the LOM riser card with the slot on the system.
Press the LOM riser card until the card is firmly seated on the system board connector and the two blue plastic snap hold the LOM riser card in place.
Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, replace the screws to secure the LOM riser card to the system board.
Air shroud
Identify the cooling shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the air shroud with the slots on the system.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it is firmly seated.

Butterfly riser
Identify the butterfly riser assembly location highlighted in blue
Lower the expansion card riser into place until the expansion card riser connector is fully seated in the connector.
Tighten the captive screw that secures the riser to the system
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system.
Push the system cover latch down.
Using a flat head or Phillips screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise.
