Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the chassis.
Slide towards the front and lift the side cover off the chassis.
Processor fan
Identify the processor fan highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
Press the blue tabs on both sides of the processor fan and lift the processor fan off the chassis.
Memory Module
Identify the memory module highlighted in blue.
Using your fingertips, carefully spread apart the securing clips on each end until the memory module pops up.
Slide and remove the memory module from the memory module slot.
Install
Memory Module
Identify the memory module location highlighted in blue.
Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the slot and slide the memory into the slot at an angle.
Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
Processor fan
Identify the processor fan location highlighted in blue.
Press the release tab on the processor fan and place it on the chassis until it clicks into place.
Connect the fan cable to the system board.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover into place towards the front of the chassis.
Tighten the thumb screw that secure the side cover to the chassis.
