How to replace the Fan on a Precision3591

This 3D experience gives you the step by step process of replacing the Fan and a Precision3591. The procedure will also include removing the Base Cover, System Fan and reinstalling them.

Removal

Base Cover

Identify the base cover highlighted in blue.

Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover.

Pry the base cover near the hinges to release it from the system.

Remove the base cover by loosening the sides and front.

Identify the base cover location highlighted in blue.

Align the base cover tabs to the slots, press the cover until it clicks into place.

Tighten the captive screws that secure the base cover to the system.
