Removal
Cover
Identify the cover highlighted in blue.
Pull the release latch to release the cover.
Rotate the cover and lift the cover to remove it from the computer.
PSU hinge
Identify the power supply unit (PSU) hinge highlighted in blue
Unlock the release tabs on the back of the system
Rotate the power supply unit hinge up to an open position.
Optical drive assembly
Identify the optical drive assembly highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the optical drive.
Pull the release tab on the optical drive cage towards the bottom of the system.
Push to slide out the optical drive through the front of the system.
Optical drive
Identify the optical drive assembly highlighted in blue.
Remove the screw that secures the optical drive bracket to the optical drive.
Eject the optical drive by inserting a pin into in the optical drive eject hole.
Using a plastic scribe, gently push the optical drive bezel away from the optical drive.
Install
Optical drive
Identify the optical drive location highlighted in blue.
Align the screw hole on the optical drive bracket with the screw hole on the optical drive.
Install the screw that secures the optical drive bracket to the optical drive.
Align the tabs on the optical drive bezel with slots on the optical drive and snap it in place.
Optical drive assembly
Identify the optical drive location highlighted in blue.
Slide the optical driveassembly through the front of the system till it clicks into place.
Connect the power and data cables to the optical drive.
PSU hinge
Identify the power supply unit (PSU) cage highlighted in blue.
Rotate the power supply unit cage downwards into the system.
Lock the release tabs to secure the power supply unit hinge to the system.
Cover
Identify the cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the hooks on the cover with the tabs on the chassis of the computer.
Rotate the cover until it clicks into place.
