Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counter clockwise.
Lift the latch untill the system cover slides back.
Hold the cover on both sides, and lift the cover away from the system.
Middle Top Cover
Identify the Middle Top cover highlighted in blue
Slide the middle top cover in the direction of the arrows marked on the middle top cover.
Lift the Middle Top cover away from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue
Hold the edges of the air shroud, and lift the air shroud out of the system.
Cooling fan cage assembly
Identify the Cooling Fan Cage Assembly highlighted in blue
Lift the blue release levers to unlock the cooling fan cage assembly from the system
Hold the release levers, and lift the cooling fan cage assembly from the system.
GPU Air Shroud
Identify the GPU air shroud highlighted in blue
Disconnect the drive backplane cables from the connector on the backplane.
Unroute the cables from the cable guide.
Press the release latches of the GPU air shroud, and slide the GPU air shroud towards to rear of the system.
Tilt the front of the GPU air shroud and lift it out of the system.
Side wall bracket - Right
Identify the Side Wall Bracket highlighted in blue
Press the tab to open the side wall bracket cover.
Disconnect the right control panel cable and the VGA cable from the connectors on the system board.
Unroute the right control panel cable through the side wall of the system.
Unroute the cables to release them from the side wall bracket.
Lift the bracket to release it from the chassis.
Control panel Right
Identify the control panel highlighted in blue
Remove the screws that secures the front top cover.
Remove the front top cover from the system.
Remove the screws that secures the right control panel.
Holding the cable, slide the right control panel out of the system.
Install
Control panel Right
Identify the control panel location highlighted in blue
Align and slide the right control panel in the slot on the system
Secure the control panel with screws.
Align the front top cover to the system.
Install the screws that secure the front top cover to the system.
Side wall bracket - Right
Identify the Side Wall Bracket location highlighted in blue
With the side wall bracket open, align the side wall bracket with the tabs on the chassis.
Install the side wall bracket in to the system chassis.
Route the cables through the side wall bracket.
Route the right control panel cables through the side wall of the system.
Connect the right control panel cable and VGA cable to the connectors on the system board
Close the side wall bracket cover until the cover firmly clicks into place.
GPU Air Shroud
Identify the GPU air shroud location highlighted in blue
Hold the GPU air shroud with the front tilted up at an angle.
Lower the GPU air shroud into the system and slide the GPU air shroud to the front of the system, until it clicks firmly into place.
Route the cables properly through the cable guides
Connect the all data, signal, and power cable(s) to the backplane.
Cooling fan cage assembly
Identify the Cooling Fan Cage Assembly location highlighted in blue
Align the guide rails on the cooling fan cage assembly with the standoffs on the system.
Lower the cooling fan cage assembly into the system until the cooling fan cage connectors engage with the connectors on the system board.
Press the release levers to lock the cooling fan cage assembly into the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the air shroud with the slots on the system.
Lower the air shroud into the system until it clicks into place.
Middle Top Cover
Identify the Middle Top cover location highlighted in blue
Align the tabs on the Middle Top cover with the guide slots on the system.
Slide the middle top cover to the front of the system until the middle top cover fits into place.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system.
Push the system cover latch down.
Using a 1/4" Flathead or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise.
