Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Using a phillips screwdriver to turn the side panel latch to the unlocked position.
Pull the release latch to release the side cover from the system.
Push the latch and release the side cover from the system.
Lift the side cover away from the system.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud highlighted in blue.
Hold the top air shroud at the grip points and pull it upwards out of the system.
Rear Fan
Identify the rear fan highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the fan cables from its connector on the system board.
Remove the screws that secure the fan assembly to the system.
Lift at an angle and remove the fan assembly away from the system.
Gently pull the rubber grommets to release the fan from the fan cage.
Filp the rear fan assembly.
Unroute the fan cable from the routing guide on the fan assembly.
Remove the fan from the fan cage.
Install
Rear Fan
Identify the rear fan location highlighted in blue.
Route the fan cable through the slot on the fan cage.
Place the fan with the rubber grommets inside the fan cage.
Route the fan cable from the routing guide on the fan assembly.
Filp the rear fan assembly.
Route the rubber grommets through the slots on the fan and pull it until the fan snaps into position.
Install the fan assembly at an angle into the slot in the system.
Install the screws that secures the fan assembly to the system.
Connect the fan cables to its connector on the system board.
Air Shroud
Identify the air shroud location highlighted in blue.
Align the top air shroud over the heat sink and system board.
Install and press the top air shroud down until the tabs click into place.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs with the slots and install the side cover on the system.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to turn the side-panel latch to the locked position.
