Removal
System Cover
Identify the system cover highlighted in blue.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or a phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
Lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
Lift the system cover from the system.
Drive Backplane Cover
Identify the drive backplane cover highlighted in blue.
Slide the backplane cover in the direction indicated by the arrows on the drive backplane cover.
Lift the backplane cover from the system.
Side Wall Bracket
Identify the side wall bracket highlighted in blue.
Press the side tabs to release the side wall cable holder.
Unroute the cables from the side wall cable holder.
Press the center tab to release the bracket from the system, and lift it away from the system.
Riser - 2b
Identify the riser highlighted in blue.
Unlock the riser latch, lift the riser to disconnect it from the connector, and remove it from the guide pin and cage.
KVM Left Control Panel
Identify the KVM left control panel highlighted in blue.
Disconnect the left control panel cable from the system board.
Remove the left control panel cable cover from the system.
Unroute the left control panel cable from the side wall bracket and the routing guides on the system.
Remove the screws that secure the KVM left control panel and the cable cover to the system.
Remove the latch that secure the KVM left control panel and the cable cover to the system.
Remove the screws that secure the left control panel to the system.
Slide and remove the KVM left control panel from the system.
Install
KVM Left Control Panel
Identify the KVM left control panel location highlighted in blue.
Align and slide the KVM left control panel into the slot on the system.
Install the screws that secure the left control panel and cable cover to the system.
Install the latch that secure the KVM left control panel and the cable cover to the system.
Install the screws that secure the KVM left control panel and the cable cover to the system.
Route the right control panel cable through the side wall bracket and the routing guides on the system.
Align and slide the left control panel cable cover in the slot on the system.
Connect the left control panel cable to the system board.
Riser - 2b
Identify the riser location highlighted in blue.
Align the riser with the connector and guide pin, lower it, press to seat it fully, then lock it with the riser latch.
Side Wall Bracket
Identify the side wall bracket location highlighted in blue.
Align the guide slots on the side wall bracket with the guides on the system and slide until the cover is seated firmly.
Route the cables through the side wall cable holder.
Drive Backplane Cover
Identify the drive backplane cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the drive backplane cover with the guide slots on the system.
Slide the drive backplane cover to the front of the system until the drive backplane cover fits into place.
System Cover
Identify the system cover location highlighted in blue.
Align the tabs on the system cover with the guide slots on the system, then slide the cover into place.
Close the system cover release latch.
Using a 1/4 inch flat head or phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock clockwise to the lock position.
