Removal
Side Cover
Identify the side cover highlighted in blue.
Loosen the thumb screw that secures the side cover to the chassis.
Slide and lift the side cover off the chassis.
2.5 Hard Drive
Identify the hard drive highlighted in blue.
Hold the tab to unlock the hard drive assembly, then slide it out of the system.
Lift the hard drive assembly off the chassis.
Turn the hard drive assembly so that the hard drive faces the top.
Pry the hard drive carrier to release the tabs on the carrier from the slots on the hard drive.
Lift the hard drive off the hard drive carrier.
Install
2.5 Hard Drive
Identify the hard drive location highlighted in blue.
Place the hard drive in the carrier and align the tabs with the slots on the hard drive.
Snap the hard drive carrier onto the hard drive.
Turn the hard drive assembly so that the hard drive faces the system.
Place the hard drive assembly on the chassis and line up the tabs with the slots.
Slide the hard drive assembly into place on the chassis.
Side Cover
Identify the side cover location highlighted in blue.
Slide the side cover into place towards the front of the computer
Tighten the thumb screw that secure the side cover to the chassis.
