Removal
GPU fans
Select the GPU Fan you want to replace
Press the latch on the GPU fan module.
Using other hand pull out the GPU fan module to disconnect from the connector on the rear fan cage assembly.
GPU fan cage
Identify the GPU fan cage highlighted in blue
Loose the thumb screws on the rear fan cage.
Using both hands pull the left and right handles outward together and pull the complete module out until the safety latch engages with the chassis.
Push the button on both sides to disengage the latch from chassis, then pull GPU fan cage out of the chassis.
GPU Tray(A100)
Identify the GPU tray highlighted in blue
Loose the captive screws on both side of the chassis.
Using both hands, rotate the handle and slowly pull the GPU tray toward the rear of the system.
Press and release the safety latch on both sides of the GPU tray.
Hold the GPU lifting handle and pull the tray out from the rear of the chassis.
GPU Top Cover
Identify the GPU top cover highlighted in blue
Press the buttons on both sides of the GPU tray top cover and slide the top cover forward.
Lift the GPU top cover from the GPU module.
A100 GPU Heatsink Front
Identify the GPU front heatsink highlighted in blue.
Lift the GPU air baffles from the assembly.
Loosen the heatsink screws diagnally 3 turns each.
Return to the initial screw and loosen it completely. Finally, loosen all the remaining screws completely, following a diagonal order.
Lift and remove the front heatsink from the GPU socket.
A100 GPU Heatsink Rear
Identify the GPU front heatsink highlighted in blue.
Lift the GPU air baffles from the assembly.
Loosen the heatsink screws diagnally 3 turns each.
Return to the initial screw and loosen it completely. Finally, loosen all the remaining screws completely, following a diagonal order.
Lift and remove the front heatsink from the GPU socket.
A100 GPU Module
Select the GPU Fan you want to replace
Press the latch on the GPU fan module.
Using other hand pull out the GPU fan module to disconnect from the connector on the rear fan cage assembly.
Install
A100 GPU Module
Confirm the highlighted GPU fan is the correct location to install or change selection.
Align the GPU fan module with the GPU fan cage wall.
Using both hands push the GPU fan module to the end until it clicks into place.
A100 GPU Heatsink Rear
Identify the GPU front heatsink highlighted in blue.
Align and insert the front heatsink on the GPU socket.
Tighten the heatsink screws diagnally 3 turns each.
Return to the initial screw and Tighten it completely. Finally, tighten all the remaining screws completely, following a diagonal order.
Align and insert the GPU air baffles with the help of guide pins on them.
A100 GPU Heatsink Front
Identify the GPU front heatsink highlighted in blue.
Align and insert the front heatsink on the GPU socket.
Tighten the heatsink screws diagnally 3 turns each.
Return to the initial screw and Tighten it completely. Finally, tighten all the remaining screws completely, following a diagonal order.
Align and insert the GPU air baffles with the help of guide pins on them.
GPU Top Cover
Identify the GPU top cover location highlighted in blue
Align the GPU top cover with GPU tray.
Insert the GPU top cover and push it from the front toward the rear of the GPU tray until it auto-locks by latch on both sides.
GPU Tray(A100)
Identify the GPU tray location highlighted in blue
Lift and align the GPU tray with the rear of the chassis to ensure correct orientation.
Using both hands, slowly push GPU tray along the track from the rear of the chassis.
Using both hands, push the handle until it is in a vertical position and self-locks at the same time
Tighten the captive screws on both side of the chassis.
GPU fan cage
Identify the GPU fan cage location highlighted in blue
Hold the fan cage module and align it with the rear of the system.
Press the fan cage module firmly into the chassis until it reaches the hard stop position.
Push the fan cage module into the chassis until the handles touch the middle plane.
Rotate the left and right handles inward by hand.
Tighten the thumb screws on the rear fan cage.
GPU fans
Confirm the highlighted GPU fan is the correct location to install or change selection.
Align the GPU fan module with the GPU fan cage wall.
Using both hands push the GPU fan module to the end until it clicks into place.
