Executive Team
Timothy W. Mattox serves as Dell's vice president of strategy. In this role he works directly with the CEO on major strategic issues and opportunities for the company.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mattox served as a marketing executive at the vice president level within the Dell Americas and Product Group organizations. He also served as vice president and general manager for the Dell Hosting Group as well as vice president of strategy for Dell's Enterprise Systems Group.
Prior to joining Dell in 1998, he was a consultant with Bain & Company. Mr. Mattox also served as a senior product line manager for Oracle Corporation running Oracle's DEC UNIX product line.
Mr. Mattox holds bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in business administration from Stanford University.
