Dell offers a variety of warranties and services to meet your needs.

Limited hardware warranty and In-Home Service
Your Limited Hardware Warranty* covers your PC against defective parts and workmanship. If you experience a part failure, we'll first troubleshoot the system with you over the phone, via e-mail or through online chat (24/7, 365 days a year). If we determine that your system needs a part replaced, we will either send you the part if it’s easy to install (like a mouse or a keyboard) or send a trained technician to your home (often the next business day*) to do it for you.

Technical Support
For the length of your limited hardware warranty*, our technical support representatives are always here for you (24X7, 365 days a year), for the term of your limited hardware warranty*, and often we'll have you up and running after one conversation. However, if we determine your system needs a part replaced that's easy to install (e.g. mouse, keyboard, etc.), we’ll mail the part to you for convenient self installation. If the part needs to be replaced by a trained technician, we'll have a trained technician come to your home - often the next business day* - for part replacement. Our technical support provides you with convenient assistance.

Complete Care Accidental Damage Service
Dell offers an easy-to-use service that helps protect your system against many unforeseen mishaps caused from spills, drops, surges, and other accidental damage.

With CompleteCare Accidental Damage Service*, you can call Dell's technical support line when an accident occurs and report the problem. Depending on your system type, the cause and extent of damage, and other service options you’ve purchased, Dell will initiate repair or replacement services.

The services may include shipment of replaceable parts, requests for shipment of damaged product to a Dell repair facility, or initiation of whole unit exchange procedures.

Enjoy the convenience of Dell’s In-Home repair service following phone and/or online Remote Diagnosis*. For issues covered by your Limited Hardware Warranty*, technician and/or part will be dispatched, if necessary, usually within 1 or 2 business days following completion of Remote Diagnosis*.
