Removing coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. microSD card
    2. base cover
    3. battery
  3. To remove the coin cell battery:
    1. Disconnect the coin cell battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
    2. Pry the coin cell battery to release it from the adhesive and lift it away from the computer [2].
