Software

The following table details the software that must be in place before installing proxy mode server.

Prerequisites

  • Windows Installer 4.0 or later

    Windows Installer 4.0 or later must be installed on the server where the installation is taking place.

  • Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package

    If not installed, the installer installs it for you.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework Version 4.6.1

    Microsoft has published security updates for .NET Framework Version 4.6.1.

NOTE:

Universal Account Control (UAC) must be disabled when installing in a protected directory. After disabling UAC, you must reboot the server for this change to take effect.

Registry location for Windows Servers: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Dell.
