Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover

    2. battery

    3. memory module

    4. hard drive assembly or M.2 SSD or PCIe SSD
    5. dock frame

  3. To remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable [1].
    2. Disconnect the LED board cable from the LED board.
    3. Unroute the cables from the retention clips on the computer [2].
    4. Lift the speaker from the computer [3].
