Procedure

  1. Disconnect the power and data cable from the optical-drive assembly.
  2. Pull the securing tab to release the optical-drive assembly from the chassis.

  3. Push to slide the optical-drive assembly out through the front of the computer.

  4. Remove the screw that secures the optical-drive bracket to the optical drive.

  5. Gently pull and disconnect the optical-drive bezel from the optical drive.
