Order Of Connection For Data Source
DSET uses
the following data sources based on the namespace to collect hardware
and storage information:
- Remote Provider (Linux or Windows)
- OpenManage Server Administrator Native (Linux or Windows)
- ESX with SMASH profile
- ESXi with Open Manage Server Administrator installed
- iDRAC7 (out-of-band)
The following table provides the data source supported for DSET on Windows and Linux-based system.
