Removing the system-board shield

  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand

    2. back cover

  3. To remove the system board shield:
    1. Press the securing tab to release the system-board shield from the slots on the computer [1].
    2. Slide the system-board shield away from the computer [2].
    3. Lift the system-board shield from the computer [3].
