Removing the speakers

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery cover

    2. battery

    3. base cover

    4. hard drive

    5. keyboard

    6. palmrest

  3. Perform the following steps to remove the speaker:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board [1].
    2. Unroute the speaker cable and remove the cable from the routing tabs.
    3. Lift the speakers, along with the speaker cable and remove it away from the computer [2].
