New Features

The ThinOS 8.3.1 release consists of the following new features:

  • Updates to packages (These package updates of ThinOS 8.3.1 release are applicable only to Wyse 5060 thin client with ThinOS or Wyse 5060 thin client with PCoIP)— In ThinOS 8.3.1, the following packages are updated to a newer version:

    • RTME.i386.pkg

    • FR.i386.pkg

    • TCX.i386.pkg

  • ThinOS 8.3.1 release contains additional INI parameters. For more information, see Dell Wyse ThinOS 8.3.1 INI Guide .

  • Dual 4K (3840 x 2160) support

    Dual 3840 x 2160 is supported with Dual Display ports for 30 Hz display refresh rate. For more information on supported monitor resolution for Wyse 5060 thin client, see Configuring the General Display Settings
