Procedure

  1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
  2. Remove the speaker cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
  3. Peel off the tape that secures the speaker cable to the touch-pad bracket.

  4. Using a plastic scribe, pry up the speakers to release the tabs on the speakers from the slots on the palm-rest assembly.
  5. Lift the speakers along with its cable off the palm-rest assembly.
