Removing the Display Panel

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside your computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. display-hinge cap
    3. base cover
    4. base-corner cover
    5. display assembly
    6. display bezel
  3. Remove the screws that secure the display panel to the display assembly.

  4. Flip the display panel over.

  5. Peel off the LVDS cable-connector tape and disconnect the LVDS cable from the display panel. Remove the display panel from the display assembly.
