AW2518H, showing squares
Hey People, This problem has been occuring again, i had this once but then the problem went away: I made some forum posts on another forum.
Hey Guys,
I've posted of this problem earlier, i fixed it for a couple of months but now it is back, this was the original post https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/week-old-alienware-aw2158h-showing-squares.3500762/
here are some pictures, you can see the squares much more on the monitor itself : https://static.wixstatic.com/media/cd368c_695649d6cc0e4e29bcc7ffb79519994a~mv2_d_2048_1536_s_2.jpg/v1/fill/w_600,h_450,al_c,q_80,usm_0.66_1.00_0.01/73495126_391399558433536_139880765645337.webp
I have updated my gpu drivers. This problem occured yesterday when playing 7 days to die.
Does anyone have any idea how i can fix this?
When setting it back to 60 hz the squares are gone but when put back on 240 hz or anything higher than 60 hz it goes back to the squares
Thanks, Jiry
this monitor is brand new and this is happening: I've tried ddu, installing earlier drivers, a clean install of windows nothing helped. What do i do now guys?

I suggest you connect a different monitor on that machine, as a test.
Use the same port (DisplayPort or whatever you are using now ).
Be sure you are fixing the right system component.

Similar thread above. One question does it happen in every game at 60Hz?
If so I would chalk it up to a faulty or slowly fizzling out monitor. I mean how much troubleshooting can you do on a monitor? Looks like you exhausted all your options. RMA it man.

Hey, Thanks for your response, Let me re-explain it , i see no squares when the monitor is set to 60hz mode, the squares only come back when set to 240hz or anything higher than 60 hz.
I have tried everything on the other forum post but nothing worked
