AW3423DWF, DDM, conflicting with games input

I have recently started having issues in a few games I play. Specifically Battlefield 2042 and Atomic Heart. The issues involve the mouse not staying locked to the full screen window and acting like it is trying to click something. The input is also floaty, stuttery, and delayed.

Closing DDM (Dell Display Manger) solves this issue so I believe there is a bug in the software causing it to conflict with games.

Here is a post I submitted in the Battlefield 2042 reddit troubleshooting. I also posted a video there showing the issue:

Now that I know DDM is the cause, I unfortunately will have to revert back to manually changing the HDR setting every time I load up a game.

To receive assistance from Dell support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private AW3423DWF Service Tag.

Assuming that you have loaded DDM 2.1.0.45? Uninstall it and test the older versions of DDM found in the FAQ DDM (Dell Display Manager). Do they all have the same issue?

This issue is also hugely apparent in Rainbox Six Siege. Having DDM running in the background messes with the mouse sensitivity as well as makes mouse input inconsistent. Closing DDM immediately solves it. I am on version 2.1.1.17.

Same issue here. I even contacted with Dell in Greece and the ignorance of their technician was amazing!!! He was trying to blame me for not having..... a complete Dell system... unbelievable!!! He had no idea what this software is about but still he kept talkin about graphics drivers and mainboard.

Anyway, i have tried all DDM versions available ending in the same result.... either borderless fullscreen or native fullscreen game..... dx 9/11/12..... their camera loses sync with mouse and rotates like crazy with the slightest move no matter the sensitivity set. When i close the DDM, things get back to normal. Forced to uninstall it completely since it does not serve the purpose it is made for as it should.

Elder scrolls online and Warframe are two of those games where the issue is more intensive.

For the record, i own a Dell S2422HG which i want to use the software for but while very useful, it's not functional or reliable as manager.
