Aurora R10, CPU swap, 5800x to 5900x
I received my Aurora R10 with the 5800x and motherboard TYR0X. Also, I was lucky to get a 5900x from a major retailer locally at the recommended price. Based on comments made in this forum, I am making the assumption that I can swap the 5800x with a 5900x.
The questions I have are:
1.- Does the TYR0X support the 5900x?
2.- Do I have to reinstall the w10 OS? or Can I just swap the CPU and turn the computer on?
3.- Any changes to the BIOS?
Any help would be appreciated.

Dell cannot speak to the retail AMD R9-5900X CPU.

You don't need to reinstall windows when you upgrade a CPU.
The 5800x and 5900x are the same gen and should require the same microcode so I don't see a need for an update, but it wouldn't hurt to be on the latest revision.
You should also disable any overclock settings before upgrading the CPU though.

Since you already have all the parts in hand just delete any OC settings, clear CMOS, swap it out, repaste, and boot up.
