Aurora R10, MIC have 1% output at 100 volume
Hi,
My MIC is audible only when the volume is at least 90 or above. I did a test at 100 and it shows as 1% of total volume. Anyone know what the root cause might be with this issue? I tried with different MICs and still the same.

So, trouble with the on-board (analog) audio? Using a Mic with 3.5mm jack?
Hard to say, but hopefully just a driver problem (so clean-install proper audio-driver-suite). Check Device-Manager and Sound in (legacy) Control-Panel.
As a work-around (or to aid in troubleshooting), these are nice.

thanks for the advice on the USB jack, will order that one. looks like the one I have split (audio and mic) cable that might be broken.

Glad to help.
Just to be clear ... the little item I linked to above is a complete USB "Sound-Card" Device . It has it's own jacks and uses it's own audio-drivers (which should be supplied by Windows).
