Aurora R10, won't utilize XMP profile Corsair Vengeance LPX

Hello! Another OC problem! I have one of the models that has the 5900 non X variant and have tried two sets of Corsair Vengeance LPX memory. The issue I have is that with either the OC1 or OC2 option enabled I get the three boot then default error. The ram in question right now is CMX16GX4M2B3200C16 in a 4x8GB configuration. Trying to boot into the xmp profile of 3200 XMP is NOT working. I noticed manual timing settings in the bios however the tags do not correlate or match visually to me. Again this is a 4x8GB configuration. AWCC doesn't correctly read the ram and thus I do not have a software side XMP option.

2x16GB 3466MHz is the fastest OEM memory for the R10 Ryzen Edition with 5900 Ryzen you can buy from Dell (tested and validated by Dell).IMG_8582.jpegIMG_8466.JPEG

The Auroras are very picky with aftermarket memory. The only 100% compatible memory is the OEM-Kingston. You can only buy them directly from Dell.

Corsair Vengeance LPX was never tested/validated by Dell. Also, 4x8GB was never tested/validated by Dell. We tested/validated 2x16GB 3200MHz and 2x16GB 3400MHz.

These machines are very picky with aftermarket memory. If you are trying manual timing, the numbers in the BIOs are in HEX instead of DECIMAL...

I have to only argue that what is in my system that it was shipped with is actually not on this list.

Hello, I think I'm having a similar situation with my Aurora R14 Ryzen 9 5900 (non-x). I took some advice that I should've researched a little more.

This Pc came with the Fury 32gb RAM. I was told I probably didn't need more but better RAM. So, I ordered the Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x16. Using the AWCC it doesn't give me an option for RAM anymore. In the BIOS it only gives 2 options- Auto or Custom. I can choose either, but when I choose custom, I must enter the timings and I'm not confident enough to do so. So, if you could give me some professional advice, I would appreciate it. If you need my service tag or anything else, please DM me. Thank you

Put it in auto and see what happens. If al goes well it will grab the proper XMP profile. Hard to say with aftermarket memory if it will work or not.
