Aurora R11, BIOS update is not updating
Hi everyone,
It's about Alienware Aurora R11
Dell Support asks me to install two updates, one of them is the BIOS update "Alienware Aurora R11 System BIOS 1.0.14". When I tried to install the updates from Dell support, it returns an error: "Some of the updates could not be installed"
Then I manually downloaded the updates and ran it. It went through all the procedure of updating the BIOS. Yet when I run the Dell Support again to check on the updates, it asks me to install exactly the same update again. And again it fails to do so.
Please advise.

I uninstalled all Dell Support products and installed the latest version of Dell Support. BIOS update worked fine after that.
Thanks

If you are not experiencing issues with your R11, I would advise to ignore the BIOS update. It's typically only required if you are experiencing specific issues that are addressed in the update.
I think the support application likes to update everything to the latest version, but that is not always required.

Thats so true. But if you ever have to update bios it's better putting the bios update on a flash drive and updating through the F12. heres a video that Dell Care gave me that worked perfect as I was so scared to do a bios update.
