Aurora R12, Clock watchdog timeout error
Brand new Aurora R12, I9 11900kf 3090 64gb. No overclocking done, nothing. 2 games tried, same issue. Every driver is up to date, did a clean gpu reinstall. Same issue. Rolled back gpu, same error.

You could try this: R12
However, if it is a new machine I would contact DELL technical support and discuss options with them since a new machine should not crash.

Watchdog timeout is a cpu error? Something todo with thread timing like a process has to recieve a response in a few milliseconds or u crash... I thing even depending on the level of play NoOverclock could be a bad thing...

Called DELL today, updated all the drivers, still have the same issue. Run SupportAssist and check all the hardware, everything is good but that does not fix the problem. When run a simple Tensorflow Python code, it crushes (CLOCK_WATCHDOG TIMEOUT).

Did you try the change documented here? : R12 bios setting
I do not have an R12, so I cannot test this out. But it looks like several other users had great success in solving their issue with this change.

Does it only happen with Tensorflow Python code, or does it happen with other programs also?

Nice ! Good to see that kind of support from Dell. I have 4 Years of it and I hope I don’t have to use it. Glad you got fixed.

Interesting. having the exact same problem with brand new Aurora R12. Tech support told me to NOT download NVIDIA drivers and ONLY use Dell approved drivers, and had me set to OC setup "2" in BIOS. Essentially giving me the exact opposite advice they gave you. Mine has also not returned yet, but I doubt this will ultimately resolve the issue as it has come and gone since I got the system. I have ran diagnostic tests on RAM, SSD, HDD, CPU, and GPU and all check out fine. I hope they get this fixed as I don't feel it is right that I pay $3K to then become a Dell beta tester.

Sounds like there is a lot of people with this error! We just got our R12 4 days ago and its been nothing short of a headache... we have done everything under the book, we also did the whole bios reset and reinstalled Windows! and the last thing we are trying is enabling overclock in the bios and if this doesn't work, it is being shipped back to dell for a refund... for a 4k pc it does not perform as it should , my old r6 runs better and never had an issue...

Having the exact same issue. Except I purchased the Mack daddy. I9 128ram and 3090. I found this was happening when the machine was being pushed a little and overall temp was rising. Putting my hand over the top of the machine it felt very warm. I overrode the fans to 50% and it seemed to have fixed my problem for now…
