Aurora R13, crash/reboot, rear fan, noise issues
I received my R13 on 2/26/2022. On first week, I noticed that the PSU is making a loud clicking noise while playing rdr2. I called the tech support and after troubleshooting, they created the case and agreed to send the tech to replace the part. Then, the service work order kept being canceled, re-created and delayed until 4/11/2022 cause Dell said that the 750W PSU is on backorder and they are having part issue. While waiting for the part, I started running into more issues. BIOS is on the latest 1.0.12 FW, all drivers are up to date. It crashes and reboots while gaming. Sometimes it just flickers and go black screen and you have to power cycle the unit. Also, on each startup, it sometimes cannot detect the rear fan but the rear fan it’s working and running on full RPM. Restart the pc, it will become normal again, but it happens randomly on each startup. Also, the AIO cooler is making a constant squeaking noise and the rare fan is making weird humming noise on performance thermal profile. I decided to contact tech support and request a full system exchange. They told me to contact sales support team and also to take into account that the PC is currently 37 days old, and the return period is 30 days, however, first issue was reported while still within the 30 days, please let us know the outcome of your request. After being transfer around, I made a contact to one of the customer care rep. She helped me created another case and told me that the request for full system replacement needs to get approved from higher up and I will have to wait. Sorry about the long story, and this is my experience so far.

Is it possible to pay to upgrade to 1000W PSU. I’ve had my system since late January. It’s been running pretty well until the BIOS update earlier this month. Would upgrade if possible to do so

Apparently the 1,000 Watt PSU is not for sale.
