Aurora R13, new, random reboots, fan noise, display issue
New to the forum, so unsure how it works. If I need to list each question separate, I will edit post and do so. Some of my issues I have searched on the board for and still am.
I just received a new Aurora R13 (specs below). I am having a fair amount of problems and figured prior to contacting support, I would see if its stuff I can handle.
SPECS AURORA R13:
12th Gen i9-12900KF Water Cooled, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GPU, 32GB DDR5, Windows 11, Dual Monitors
Operating temps: CPU 75-80. GPU 80.
MY ISSUES:
-Randomly will reboot itself.
-Randomly mouse will stop working / freeze for a second or two. Mouse is corded not wireless.
-Rotating displays. Has dual monitors. One is vertical. At times the vertical one, the display will revert to horizontal on its own.
-Rear Fan: Extremely loud when it kicks to high speed. Is there a replacement fan I can buy that is quieter? When the fan does kick to high speed, we do check temps and everything is usually the same temps as above(under specs). Just super loud.
I was going to do a fresh install of windows on the system and ditch Windows 11 and go back to Windows 10. Figured, start fresh and have the version I want and maybe some of the buggy ness with the system goes away. My concern on that though, is that, if I do a fresh install of Windows 10, do I violate my warranty on the system? I did purchase the Premium Support Plus Onsite Service Warranty. I love the system, but some of the above issues are a bit concerning for only using it a few days.

For your consideration, here is a recent thread where an R13 owner added a second fan to the radiator for a push/pull configuration. They report that the operation is very easy and the CPU temp results are very good. It also appears to have had a secondary benefit of cooling the graphics card.

that mice thingy could be a Windows issue, are you a Windows Insider as well?
for next Update this will be resolved

Sorry on my delayed response following up.
I did do the suggestions and most of the issues were resolved, so thanks all for the help on that.
Now though, over the past few days I am experiencing some audio and video issues different from those of the past. Maybe I should just start a new post though for that.
Thanks again on helping sort some of the other issues out.

It should not hurt to clean-install Windows. That would shed away all the pre-installed Dell stuff.

But this is an Aurora-R13 that came with Windows-11. I would definitely re-install Windows-11 (64bit). The only thing you then need from Dell is Alienware Command-Center. Get your Nvidia driver from nvidia.com. Done.
A less-extreme first trouble-shooting step would be to check the Windows Reliability History for any (red) critical errors.

Try this little app called "Monitor Profile Switcher". Runs fine on Windows-11 (and Windows-10).

Create a Profile for each config. Yeah, I spin my monitors sometime also (depends on current project or game).

This is what I do on both of my Aurora's ...
Set Thermal Controller to Manual. I set Front-Fan to Curve. Create a nice-little uphill curve. Set max to 50%-80%. If it wants a "Link To" Sensor, I use CPU-Sensor.
