Aurora R14, PCIe to SSD adapter card, drive issue

I purchased aurora r14 and decided to add ssd storage space by putting a ssd adapter into pcie expansion card slot. But it's not consistently being recognized by the mobo.

Can someone help?

I'm actually gonna buy the WD Black SN750 2TB, M.2, 2280. If this doesn't work. I'm gonna be quite mad.

Seems like it's on the R14 as well.  This is an ongoing problem with the R13.  Hopefully someone from support will see your thread and add this to the list of things that need to be addressed.

Hi, with which SSD adapter did you have this problem ? It's better if you put all reference in order to be help. By the way i'm using this one without any problems https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B07FN3YZ8P/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A1NC51ORMQANC2&psc=1

5900x 3080ti 16gb ram single stick 256gb storage.

This is the spec right now.

I updated Bios and everything. Now it's showing up 100% of the time. However, I must have broken something that the drive is showing as locked all the time. I try to format it but it will never complete and also the computer will not be able to restart properly.

I'm going to try to restart a few times tonight without the drive and then plug it in to see if I can format it.

It's still not working properly. After updating everything, a new problem occurred. the Wi-Fi would sometimes not work after boot. The drive is still not recognized all the time. I was able to format one time it was recognized. I think it needs another bios update

The support team contacted me and told me this is a known issue......

Bruh.

I don't want to install stuff on sata ssd.

Apparently this is an issue for R13 as well. Hope they fix this fast. I really dont want to install stuff on sata ssd and later move it to m2.

I think this issue should be pinned.

Installing stuff to a sata ssd drive and then moving it to m.2 drive will be a really fast transfer.  I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Aurora R14 (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, Windows 11, 64GB ram, BIOS 1.1.1??)
Elgato 4K60 Pro card passed in both PCIe Gen3 x4 slots, able to capture image

Is there a timeline for this to be released?

Ican1v5,

I think that you and our techs are confused.
"The support team contacted me and told me this is a known issue."

In our testing, we never had an issue with the Aurora R14. The issue was with the Aurora R13 and XPS 8950.

Aurora R14 (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, Windows 11, 64GB ram, BIOS 1.1.1??)

Elgato 4K60 Pro card passed in both PCIe Gen3 x4 slots, able to capture image

Dell PCIe Zoom card was seen in both PCIe Gen3 x4 slots. 512GB NVMe SSD was seen on card

Dell PCIe Broadcom NIC was card seen in both PCIe Gen3 x4 slots. Connection to web was good

Dell PCIe USB 3.0 card was seen in both PCIe Gen3 x4 slots. USB devices work when connected to card USB slots

I think he is talking about this: Aurora R14 (Ryzen 7 5800X, RTX 3070, Windows 11, 64GB ram, BIOS 1.1.1??)

There currently is no BIOS version 1.1.1 available for download, so it looks like it was tested with a yet to be released BIOS?
