The issue is the fan.  Corsair h60 (either version) and corsair h75 are all good fits.  You may need to reuse the oem fan instead of the included fan, or buy an ml 120 pro.  Not all fans are compatible.  The fan included in the older h60 is compatible.  The others are not.

@r72019 :

I thought that lower end coolers like h55 comes with fixed speed fan hence won’t throw an error with the TOP_FAN header?

Yea, true, I was only referring to the three ones I had mentioned h60 old, h60 2018, and h75.  I forgot about the h55.

So what should I do? Because OEM fans are noisy

@ASTP This AIO is fully compatible with an R7 (it's the one I bought for my R7).  On sale at best buy: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-hydro-series-120mm-liquid-cooling-system-black/5845215.p?skuId=5845215

@Anonymous :

The fan that comes with it is fixed speed 2000 RPM fan. BIOS shouldn't error out per my previous experiment on your request to boot with a fixed speed fan.

@Anonymous There's two versions of the Corsair H60.  One has RGB on the cooler block and one doesn't.  The one sold by best buy is the one without rgb.  It is cheaper.  The one sold by amazon has rgb.  The best buy version has a faster fan included that does not throw a startup error. The rgb version has a slower fan that will throw an error.

So I can buy the older version and use it with the fan included or the newer with OEM fans or a ML 120 Pro? What is the particularity of this fan and what is the cause of the error? Can I still manage it with Alienware control Center or do I have to use Corsair Link (if it's managable)? And what about other compagnies's AIO?

That about sums it.  The fans work fine, the problem is during post the pc scans the hardware and Dell programmed it to check for the OEM fans.   Those 2 fans return signals close enough to the OEM fans to pass this check.  For the fans that don't pass the the quick check, like just about any Noctua fan, it just adds about 2 minutes to the boot time while the system locks up and runs further tests on the fans.  After that the fans work fine, you can use awcc.

The check on the front intake fan is more forgiving and you can swap that out without issue.
