Aurora R8, GPU-Z reporting PCIe bus of only x8?
Does the motherboard on the Alienware Aurora R8 not support an x16 bus? Is there a setting in the BIOS I need to change? I couldn't find an option there. It looks like the motherboard does support a x16 card mechanically, but electrically it's running it x8 Gen3. Is that right?

GPU-Z reporting that the PCIe X16 slot running the PCIe bus at X8 speed is correct. We noted this in the Aurora R8 online Setup and Specifications PDF, page 9 =

there is the spec, off the wiki, on topic
and 8x, 985MB/S is 7880MB/s or 7.8GB/s plenty fast enough in most cases.
