Pleasantly surprised - New R10 w/Air-cooling came with VRM Heatsinks.

Is that the factory fan that they come with? It looks so oddly mounted. In the side profile picture it looks like the screws that hold the fan down are somehow using the bottom fan holes. Would be hard to remove those screws because you have to get the screwdriver to the top fan holes.

I think longer screws would have made more sense.

Are they using separate stand offs, or is it part of the mounting bracket for the heatsink?

It's almost touching the first ram stick the way it's skewed.

Very strange design, not sure if a more common design would be a better fit.

You also have an 8 pin EPS connector that is populated with 4 lines. Mine has one that is populated with 3 lines.

Been complaining about not including those on all R10's in a few posts.

Hopefully they keep it like this moving forward. I always found it rather odd they would only include them when you select liquid cooling.

Maybe it's still like that and this is was a "mistake". 

Nice, it also came with the double fan GPU you were hoping for too!

DELL-Cares never got your service tag via private message. It would have helped isolate video card part numbers, etc. in that other thread.

It is done like this by design,

I removed mine to put an AIO, you just have to remove the screws attached to the motherboard and that's it.

The design is odd, I agree, but very easy to remove the stock air cooler
