R2 Won't turn on if USB is plugged in

It basically turns on and stays frozen at the startup screen with the Alienware logo and nothing happens. I've left it overnight to see if it'd work, but nothing. It doesn't matter which port the hard drive is connected to (and i've tried multiple hard drives to make sure it's not the drive) and it doesn't do anything. I remember updating the BIOS a few months ago because the computer would suddenly shut down. Not sure what's going on with it.
