Which Line Out Port Should I Use For My Gaming Speakers? Back, Front or Monitor?
Which LINE OUT port should I use for my gaming speakers for my Alienware Aurora R11? There is the standard port on the back, the front case port as well as a port on my Alienware AW3420DW monitor. Which, if any, is best?

I like to keep the front and monitor ports free in case I need to plug in headphones, etc. So I use the ports on the back of the system.

I also use the back port. It's personal preference, unless you have a PC surround soundsetup which uses multiple connections, then you'd use the connections in the back of the PC.
